Faculty Goals:

Out of the concept of education, the faculty seeks to accomplish its mission through achieving the following aims:

1- Preparing General Secondary Education certificate holders and graduates of  

  University  different institutes and faculties for the profession of teaching.

2- Enhancing the professional and scientific level of workers in the field of 

    education and providing them with modern educational trends.

3- Preparing experts and leaders in the different educational fields.

4- Conducting research and studies in the different fields of the faculty and

     publishing the results of research and scientific and educational studies.

5-Contributing in developing educational thought, publishing modern    

    educational researches and applying them for solving environment and   

    community problems.

6-Exchanging experience and information with Egyptian, Arab and

    international educational and cultural authorities and institutions and

    cooperating with them in tackling common educational issues.

7 - Solving educational problems in local environment, and in society at large, 

      and in developing educational work.

8- Working to integrate student's personality and develop her/his creative thought.

9- The faculty, through basic education section (first cycle), aims to prepare a class teacher in the 

     first years of primary education and a subject teacher in the last years of primary education.
